Bora Bora Fishing – 30' World Cat
Make the most of your time in Bora Bora and go fishing with Bora Bora Fishing. Your guide for the day is Captain Carter, giving you access to years of sportfishing experience.
Depending on the time of year, you might hook into Great Barracuda, Sailfish, Yellowfin Tuna, Blue Marlin, Mahi Mahi, Shortbill Spearfish, Bluefin Trevally, Wahoo, Skipjack Tuna, Giant Trevally, and whatever else takes the bait.
On these trips, it's common to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle. Capt. Carter also offers fly fishing, but you may need to bring your own fly gear.
Trips with Bora Bora Fishing are open to the whole family, so go ahead and bring the whole family along! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Feel free to bring your own snacks to ward off any mid-trip fatigue!
You'll be dropping lines from a 30' World Cat dual console with space for 6 passengers. It has outriggers, all the essentials. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. Capt. Carter will provide rods and reels for you, along with lures.
There will be a First Mate on board to help your trip run smoothly. Mates work hard to make your trip count, so a 10–20% tip is customary.
The charter boat covers your fishing license, so all you have to do is look forward to your trip! Keep in mind that you may release some fish due to regulations. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.
A few items to bring include sunblock (non-spray), a hat, and sunglasses. Drinks will be available for you. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be food and some light snacks provided on board.
Give yourself something to look forward to and book a trip with Bora Bora Fishing!

It was a beautiful day on the water. The fish weren't biting so we got in a few hours of snorkeling at the coral gardens and were guided through this beautiful reef by the crew.

We had an enjoyable day at sea with our knowledgeable captain and crew. We caught a nice Mahi too and took some filets with us for dinner at the resort!
catch a Blue Marlin, a yellowfin Tuna and a Wahoo👍🤪

I had a cheat time with the Captain and Wilson. They are very knowledgeable and eager to catch fish. It's very obvious that they know what they are doing. I came during the off season but we still had two opportunities to catch Marlin. It just didn't work in our favor this time. I will come back and use them again. They also picked me up at the dock at my resort. We had a great time.
I grew up deep-sea fishing in Hawaii and moved to Tahiti in 2009 where I've been fishing the pristine waters ever since and plan on fishing here for the rest of my life. Bora Bora and the other islands in French Polynesia have incredible inshore and offshore fishing and provide our guests with some great action. Whatever type of fishing you love we can offer it. Let us know and we can customize any trip to your needs. Hope to see you out on the water with us soon!
