I grew up deep-sea fishing in Hawaii and moved to Tahiti in 2009 where I've been fishing the pristine waters ever since and plan on fishing here for the rest of my life. Bora Bora and the other islands in French Polynesia have incredible inshore and offshore fishing and provide our guests with some great action.

Half Day 20ft Center Console • 1 adultI booked the half day trip on the 20’ console boat and requested a mixture of fishing. Captain Maniu collected me from the Bora Bora Conrad. We were fishing within minutes and very soon into a big Giant Trevally. Unfortunately the GT took me into the reef and cut the heavy mono but thats fishing. I had another hook up on a blue trevally but that spat the hook out after a few minutes. Also a few more follows on the stick bait / popper. We decided to go trolling for the last 1.5 hours and Manui managed to find s heap of birds diving and we saw fish breaking surface around them. Sure enough when we fished near we were soon into some lovely sized skip jack tuna. It was a great end to the morning. Manui is a fine Captain, engaging and tries very hard yo get you amongst the fish. He fishes as his hobby and it shows with his enthusiasm. Top gear on the boat.

Half Day 20ft Center Console • 1 adultHad a great fishing trip with Manui as the Captain. Got a giant trevally to the side of the boat before it got off. Also got to experience chasing Mahi with a spear from the bow of the boat. I highly recommend to anyone who wants a true local experience.

Great GT action in Bora Bora right now!

Big GT’s on Poppers lately. This last guest did two GT trips with us and caughr a total of 5 GT’s. Lost 3 big ones. Caught 4 big barracuda and lots of other reed species. Hooked up to three Dogtooth Tunas on the jig, broke them off and the best thing we saw this week was a blue marlin follow a popper all the way to the boat. Crazy reef fishing action right now.
