James Niggemeyer’s Guide Service
North East Texas lakes have fish with your name on it, so let James Niggemeyer's Guide Service help you catch it! Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain James is prepared to put you on fish.
Largemouth Bass, Spotted Bass, Striped Bass, White Bass, Crappie, and more can be found in these waters, depending on when you go. You'll target your catch by spinning, jigging, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Families who love fishing together will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Snacks are never a bad idea to ward off any mid-trip fatigue!
You'll be casting lines from a 20' Ranger bass boat that can carry up to 3 passengers. It comes with everything you need for a productive day on the water. Your captain will provide rods and reels, as well as lures.
Before coming aboard, it will be necessary to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.
Don't leave home without sunglasses, bottled water, and sunblock (non-spray). Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
Now, time to hit the water with James Niggemeyer's Guide Service!

I wanted to sneak out for a few hours on Lake Fork and see if I could hook into one of its legendary lunkers. While I fell alittle short of that goal, I did have a blast fishing with James. I always felt like we were fishing water that should be producing. We moved around enough to give the bass a fair chance. James was definitely top shelf. I really had alot of fun and we did catch some fish! Id absolutely go out with him again and recommend him to anyone looking for a true professional and overall great human.

James is a true class act. He is a tournament bass angler and guide so you know he has a top notch boat and electronics. Needless to say, he worked extremely hard to put us on the crappie even though the bite was a little tough in the morning. The bite picked up in the afternoon. We ended up with 24 nice slabs up to 1.5 lbs. Great day on the water celebrating my big brother’s birthday.
Outstanding experience would highly recommend him.
Full Time Professional Tournament Angler (circa 2006) and Guide since (2001). I also offer coaching trips for everything from high school anglers to those that wish to brush up on their electronics.
