Boatlife Tampa
Join Captain Stone Mesa, a born-and-raised Tampa native, on his 2023 Blazer Bay 2550 for an unforgettable fishing adventure in Tampa Bay and beyond! With years of experience and intimate knowledge of the local waters, he will ensure you have a memorable and productive day on the water.
These waters are known for Bull Shark, Speckled Trout, Snook, Tripletail, Redfish, Spanish Mackerel, Sheepshead, Cobia, Mangrove Snapper, Tarpon, Black Drum, and more – with any luck, it won't take long to hook into some. On these trips, it's common to spin using light tackle. Capt. Stone also offers fly fishing, but you may need to bring your own fly gear.
Thinking of bringing the whole family? Kids are absolutely welcome! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. And, you can't go wrong with snacks to maintain your energy throughout the trip!
Capt. Stone welcomes you aboard a 26' Blazer Bay 2550 GTS center console with capacity for 6 passengers. It has all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, as well as lures. Live bait is included, but it's good to ask about this so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
The charter boat covers your fishing license, so all you have to do is look forward to your trip! Some fish have special regulations, including when you can keep them. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.
It's always wise to bring sunscreen (non-spray), sunglasses, and bottled water. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
