There’s a whole lot of rest and relaxation waiting for you in Pernera – and, of course, fishing! Now’s the time to come and do it all, with Let’s Go Fishing.
Around here you can cast a line in inshore and nearshore waters, including some honeyholes that only a local guide can show you. Great Barracuda, Bonefish, Bowfin, Mahi Mahi, Dusky Grouper, and more inhabit these waters if you cast your line at the right time of year. On these trips, you can expect to troll and bottom fish using light tackle.
Your boat for the day is a 40’ Walkaround which has downriggers, and other essentials. You’ll have the help of a First Mate on board, and please remember that tips are much appreciated! You’ll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you. Live bait is included, but be sure to ask about it ahead of time so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.
Looking to get the whole family outdoors? Kids are absolutely welcome! If you don’t have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there’s one on board. Snacks are permitted onboard — bring your favorites!
Accommodations are complete with a restroom, a kitchen, a multimedia system, and other creature comforts.
You may need to buy a local fishing license ahead of time. You can usually find that information online, or reach out to the lodging coordinator here.
Meals will be covered by the trip price, including snacks as well as drinks, just make sure you know what to expect and communicate any dietary needs.
Lastly, reach out below with any questions you have, like what’s available on site and any essentials you should bring.
