Socrates Fishing Charters 

Had a brilliant trip with my 7-year-old son, Lewis, and my father-in-law, so there were three generations of us out fishing together. We all really enjoyed it and there was plenty of variety, with a good mix of different species caught throughout the trip. The biggest thing for me was how good Socrates was with Lewis. He made a real fuss of him, got him properly involved and took the time to help him develop his fishing skills rather than just doing everything for him. You could see Lewis getting more confident as the trip went on, which was great for both me and his grandad to watch. Socrates was friendly, patient and clearly loves what he does. Lewis came off the boat absolutely buzzing, and it made for a really memorable trip for all three of us. A brilliant few hours and something I’d definitely recommend, especially for families and children who are interested in fishing. We’d happily do it again.

We booked this trip as a birthday surprise for my husband, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The captain was incredibly kind, helpful, and made the whole experience so much fun. He explained everything, helped us whenever we needed it, and made sure everyone had a great time. Even I, with no fishing experience at all, caught my first two fish! 🥹 And my husband was lucky enough to catch a beautiful tuna, which truly made his day. It was an unforgettable experience from start to finish. Thank you so much for an incredible day – we highly recommend this trip to anyone visiting Cyprus! ❤️

Absolutely brilliant sea fishing trip from start to finish! 🎣 The crew were friendly, knowledgeable and made the whole experience great. The boat was spotlessly clean, everything was well organised and the fishing was fantastic. We had an amazing time out on the water and managed to catch some great fish. Definitely one of the highlights of our holiday and an experience I’d highly recommend to anyone visiting Cyprus. 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ — we’ll definitely be back!

Booked for my partners birthday..was fantastic from start to finish, we were picked up from our hotel when advised, taken to the boat and set off almost straight away. my partner enjoyed the trawling part the most but equally the bottom sea fishing was great for myself and my 9 year old boy. we all caught a variety of different fish. crew were amazing and made a real fuss of the children and were ao helpful! would 100% recomend..thank you so much for such a great experience!

We had such a fantastic time on the boat today! It was our first time going fishing, but the crew gave us great instructions and explained everything really well. Thanks to their help, we both managed to catch multiple fish! The crew was super friendly, welcoming, and made sure we had the best experience possible. Picked up from the hotel and taken to the marina. Trolling rods were deployed ‘just in case’ - tuna season hasnt started yet. 4 hours bottom fishing produced plenty of bites, mainly small puffer fish but also mouse fish, red mullet, perch, rabbit fish (a bigger puffer) and a nicholas fish. All good fun. Equipment was fine, boat was clean and Captain and mate were fun, helpful and very knowledgeable. Our group ranged in age from 6-45 and had non fishermen and fishermen. Great fun and would definitely recommend it.

We catched a lot of little, different fishes. The tour was amazing, the captains were very kind and helpful for us. We got transfer, sandwiches and juice too. The next year we will go back. Thanks for everything! 🐟🩵

You get to see the sunrise over the ocean. Captain and crew are super friendly. Fishing was fun, everyone caught many fish. The rods were great. We got snacks. Captain was punctual, he picked me up right from my hotel dispite it being in a different city from the marina. Overall amazing experience 10/10 can recommend.

We went on Socrates fishing trip as a family with limited fishing experience. We were catered for excellently by the crew and during the trip managed to catch 2 tuna, along with many smaller fish in more shallow water. Everyone had a great day out.

We werent able to catch any tuna trawling on this trip but Socrates was able to get us onto some smaller fish with rods. My 7yo had a great time and they were so welcoming and helpful to us. would go again if were back in the area.
