Fall in love with the Florida Keys fishing scene with Captain Jay Charters. Blessed with a year-round fishing season, the adventure never stops here. Capt. Jay and Capt. Ben Capt. Randy Capt. Dez are ready to share this excitement with you!

Your adventure takes place on a 34' Venture that accommodates up to 6 guests. She's powered by twin 200 HP Suzuki engines which provide a fast and steady ride to your fishing spot. The boat also features modern navigational electronics, safety equipment, a live bait tank, and outriggers.

With versatile fishing grounds, there are lots of different fish species to go after. From all kinds of Snappers, Sharks, and Groupers to Tarpon and Spanish Mackerel. Reach the offshore spots and go after Mahi Mahi and Barracuda. If you have a specific species you want to target, it's best to get in touch with the captain, so he can arrange a trip that will maximize your chances.

Even though there's a catch limit, it's more than enough to have an amazing feast after the trip. Your captain will clean your catch free of charge, so you can throw it on the grill as soon as you leave the marina. All rods, reels, lures, and bait are fully included in the price.

The captain also has bottled water on the boat, but feel free to bring other snacks and drinks. Bringing sunscreen, hats, and sunglasses is always recommended. Join Captain Jay Charters and see the Florida Keys from a different perspective.

Please be aware that an additional charge for fuel will be made for offshore trips.

Angler's Choice

The Angler's Choice Award is given to listings that consistently deliver a high-quality service and earn great reviews from customers.

Captains Jay and Ben run the trips for Captain Jay Charter. Capt. Jay grew up fishing the waters of NJ and fell in love with fishing the first time his Grandfather put a rod in his hands. Before moving to the Florida Keys, he vacationed in the Keys more than a few times, and eventually, the lure of this paradise beckoned him to move there. What better place for him to pursue his career? He loves the offshore and inshore action and the great fishery that it holds. Capt. Jay enlisted the help of Capt. Ben, who grew up freshwater fishing in NJ. For his 18th birthday, Ben and his dad chartered a boat in Canada to catch Northern Pike. This was Capt. Ben's first charter, and after seeing how awesome it was to show off the fishery, Capt. Ben set out to earn his captain's license. He joined the military, where he worked on all types of different vessels, eventually earning his 100-ton captain's license. Ben's last stop with the military was in Key West, FL. After falling in love with the fishery there, he didn't want to leave the Keys. Capt. Ben enjoys every trip out on the water. Whether it's calm or rough out, there's always something to catch!
