Book your next trip with Charters Tampa Bay and find out what you're missing in Treasure Island. Captain Barrie will be your guide, which allows you to benefit from years of sportfishing experience.
These waters are known for Red Snapper, King Mackerel (Kingfish), Amberjack, Mahi Mahi, Scamp Grouper, Hogfish, Great Barracuda, Red Grouper, Vermilion Snapper, African Pompano Jack, Goliath Grouper, Gag Grouper, and more – with any luck, they'll make your reel scream. On these trips, it’s common to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle.
Your trip begins aboard a 32' World Cat center console with space for 6 passengers. It comes with downriggers, a fighting chair, and everything you need for a productive day on the water. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. Your captain will provide rods and reels, as well as lures. Live bait is included, but you should ask the captain whether you'll be catching it yourself.
Trips are run with the help of a First Mate. Mates work hard to make your trip count, so a 10–20% tip is customary.
The charter boat covers your fishing license, just show up ready for some fishing! Be mindful that some species may have special rules or limited seasons. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more.
Don't forget to bring bottled water, sunscreen (non-spray), and sunglasses. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
How often would you rather be fishing? Go on and turn that day dream into a reality, with Charters Tampa Bay.
