You'll be fishing aboard a 36' Contender, cruising between 33-35 knots. This center console will take you 15-70 miles offshore, depending on the length of the fishing charter. With triple Suzuki engines, this is a prime fishing boat to accommodate up to 6 guests. The boat is a U.S. Coast Guard-documented vessel. She has all the safety features required by the Coast Guard to ensure a safe trip for all family members. She is equipped with the latest Garmin electronics.
Captain Anthony offers over 10 years of experience taking families fishing in the Gulf of Mexico. You will expect to catch fish including Grouper, Snapper, Amberjack, Hogfish, Sharks, and many other species of fish. His passion is putting the guests on the fish and making memorable trips you will not forget.
There is plenty of ice and cooler space for food and drinks. The captain covers your license, fishing equipment, and he'll clean your catch.

Captain Anthony and his first mate were awesome. Our group of 5 was my father, myself, my two sons, and my future son-in-law with ages ranging from 68 to 10 years old. Anthony and his first mate were truly amazing. Since we had an extra spot, he even invited a fish and wildlife monitor to join us on the trip and he was measuring and tagging the fish we caught. (We have him to thank for the final fish count as the rest of us were too busy catching fish to keep track). Anthony and his first mate were always ready with new bait each time we came up bare hooked and I never had to take a fish off all day!! We ended up moving to three different spots in our 4 hour trip; we started right off caching white grunts and hog fish at the first place we stopped but once the fishing dried up and we weren't catching them immediately we moved on to a new location where we were catching small grouper, porgy and even some trigger fish in addition to the hogs and grunts. That spot was great until we got "Sharked" by a school of sand sharks that were grabbing anything that we pulled up from the bottom including the biggest grouper of the day where only half of it was left once we got it to the surface of the water. Still even with having to move to find fish and avoid the "S" words we caught over 115 fish in our 4 hour half-day trip and were able to keep over 40 of them which Anthony cleaned and bagged for us right on the dock when we got back to the harbor. Make sure you bring a wind breaker / raincoat with you for the power to and from the fishing spot as the boat moves fast but it does take some time to get 15 miles out from shore. It was a great memory and a great time with two down to earth real guys / dads fishing and doing what they loved. I'd definitely do it again.

He cultured his hard work, dedication and love for fishing by working on his uncle's commercial boat at the age of 10, every summer. Captain Anthony has been running fishing charters for 10 years and is knowledgeable about offshore fishing, water safety, and fishing regulations.
