Book your next trip with Punta Cana Kayak Fishing and find out what makes the fishing in Punta Cana so unique. With Captain Javier at the helm, you'll benefit from years of knowledge and experience.

These waters are known for Bonefish, Mahi Mahi, Jack Crevalle, King Mackerel (Kingfish), Ladyfish, Permit, Mullet Snapper, Mutton Snapper, Snook, and more – with any luck, it won't take long to hook into some. On these trips, you can expect to bottom fish using light tackle. Capt. Javier also offers fly fishing, but you may need to bring your own fly gear.

The captain has a strict catch-and-release policy, so any fish you catch will go back in the water.

Your vessel for the day is a 12' Hobie Outback Kayaks that can accomodate up to 4 anglers. They come with all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, as well as lures.

Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, just show up ready for a good time! Keep in mind that you may release some fish due to regulations. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more.

It's recommended to bring sunblock (non-spray), and sunglasses. Drinks are included, free of charge. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

Had a great time!
4 Hour Trip – Bávaro Reef (AM) on January 30, 20262 adults

This was my wifes first time in a kayak, my first time fishing in one and being on the ocean on one. We had a wonderful time, caught fish, and had great service. The captian was polite, showed enthusiasm, and and made great suggestions. 10 out of 10, highly recommend! If i make it back to Punta Cana or Cap Cana, i will be doing this again.

Reported catch:
