There's no guarantee when you're fishing, but just some of the species you can catch around here include Barracuda, Albacore Tuna, Gray Triggerfish, and more, depending on conditions. On the day of your trip you're likely to troll and bottom fishing.

Families making a day of it will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! We have a child-sized life vest, be sure to ask on board. Don't forget to bring snacks so that everyone stays happy and energized!

Your day begins aboard a 22' Quicksilver 640 pilothouse that holds up to 4 passengers. It comes with all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. There's a toilet on board for your convenience.

Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, so all you have to do is look forward to your trip! Keep in mind that you may release some fish due to regulations. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.

Don't leave home without sunglasses, and sunscreen (non-spray). There will be some drinks on offer, but let the captain know if you wish to bring your own. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be some light snacks included on board.

We went on a family fishing trip with Captain Antonio, and it was such a great experience! There were five of us, and Antonio made everyone feel comfortable right from the start. He was super friendly, helpful, and really knew his stuff - he made sure we were always in the right spots and gave us great tips along the way. The boat was clean, spacious, and perfect for a relaxing day out. We caught plenty of fish and had a lot of fun just enjoying the whole experience. We even decided to stay an extra hour, and it was absolutely worth it - more time on the water, more catches, and more laughs. Big thanks to Captain Antonio for making the trip so enjoyable. Highly recommend this to anyone looking for a great day of fishing

Great morning fishing with my son

We had a great morning fishing. My son (15yr) and I started Pike fishing in the Netherlands some months ago, so this was our first trip on the sea. We were the only ones on the boat with captain and experienced local fisher. The very friendly crew helped us speed up to learn bottom fishing and were very active finding good spots. We caught about 7 fish (including a grouper, snapper and trigger fish). So an excellent morning and experience with my son.

The captain did everything he could to find large fish, we tried multiple spots but caught only small fish (which is perfectly normal). You can ask for a lighter standard rod without an electric reel if you prefer it (a rod with a heavy electric reel is not easy to hold for a few hours if you are not in an excellent physical shape). If you are familiar with stiff rods and fishing at 150-200 meters depth with heavy sinkers I'm sure you would enjoy a bottom fishing trip in Madeira. I think it would be a good idea to offer a fishing trip for inexperienced anglers at lesser depth and closer to shore for smaller fish (0,5-1kg) with light tackle.
