There's a fish with your name on it in Nassau and Salty Ways will help you catch it! With Captain Dorvano at the helm, you'll have a knowledgeable and experienced guide.
Fishing around here will often see you targeting Mutton Snapper, Yellowtail Snapper, Red Snapper, Mangrove Snapper, Goliath Grouper, Almaco Jack, Great Barracuda, and more, depending on conditions. Depending on the species you’re after, you may find yourself light tackle fishing, drifting, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area. For the more adventurous among you, there's spearfishing.
Families who love fishing together will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. Don't forget to bring snacks so that nobody gets cranky on an empty belly!
You'll be fishing aboard a 23' Pro-Line center console that can carry up to 6 passengers. It comes with all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you. Live bait is included, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
Trips are run with the help of a First Mate. A 10–20% tip is customary to show your appreciation for their hard work.
You will need to purchase a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.
You can't go wrong when you bring sunblock (non-spray), a hat, and sunglasses. There will be some drinks on offer, but let the captain know if you wish to bring your own. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be food and some light snacks available on board.
