Depending on the season, you might hook into Amberjack, Gag Grouper, Red Grouper, Scamp Grouper, Almaco Jack, Mangrove Snapper, Red Snapper, Vermilion Snapper, Gray Triggerfish, Blackfin Tuna, and plenty more. For these species, you're likely to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle.
Children are welcome, so get 'em offline and onto the water! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there's one on board. Snacks are also a good idea to ward off any mid-trip fatigue!
Your boat for the day is a 21' Sportsman center console with room for 5 passengers. It has all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, as well as lures. Live bait is available, but you should ask the captain whether you'll be catching it yourself.
Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, just show up ready for a good time! Be mindful that some species may have special rules or limited seasons. If you don't know what to expect, ask the captain.
It's always wise to bring sunglasses, sunscreen (non-spray), bottled water, and a hat. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

Great First Time Offshore

Our first time off shore fishing with my son's. Captain Jay made the experience a great one. There was something for everyone and we all came away with all of us having caught fish and having a great time. We will definitely be coming back next time we're out near Pensacola. Thanks again!

Captain Jason was awesome! I learned a lot from this trip, I am not the biggest fan of fishing but I had an amazing time. My boyfriend and I were very happy and impressed with the entire experience. Definitely coming back and choosing Captain Jason! Thank you again!

WHAT AN AWESOME TRIP

Captain n his deck hand are spot on!!! They kept me and my son on fish for the entire trip. If the action slowed for even a minute they were checking our bait n making sure we were at the proper depth. The boat is clean and orderly, the equipment is in great shape and never failed to perform correctly. I’m looking forward to going back out with the Captain again this fall and I hope his deck hand David will be there with us.
