Book your next trip with Texas Saltwater Adventures and find out what keeps anglers coming back to Rockport for more.
Depending on the time of year, you might hook into Sheepshead, Flounder, Black Drum, Speckled Trout, Redfish, and whatever else takes the bait. During the trip you might be light tackle fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area. Capt. Leaf can also have you Flounder gigging.
Families who love fishing together will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Don't forget to bring snacks to ward off any mid-trip fatigue!
You'll be fishing aboard a 24' Long Beach flats boat with room for 6 passengers. It comes with all the essentials. Capt. Leaf will provide rods and reels for you, as well as lures.
You will need to buy a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.
It's recommended to bring bottled water, sunglasses, and sunscreen (non-spray). Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
