Seaflex is your ticket to the stunning waters of Montego Bay. Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Dwight can tell you all about the local fishery.
These waters are known for Barracuda, Bonito, Cero Mackerel, Mahi Mahi, Red Grouper, African Pompano Jack, King Mackerel (Kingfish), Blue Marlin, Caribbean Queen Snapper, Mangrove Snapper, Mutton Snapper, and more – with any luck, it won't take long to hook into some. On these trips, it's common to troll and bottom fish.
Families who love fishing together will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Customers are encouraged to bring snacks to keep their stamina going!
You'll find yourself aboard a 30' Wellcraft walkaround with capacity for 5 passengers. It has outriggers, and all the essentials. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. Rods, reels, and tackle are included, along with lures.
Trips are run with the help of a First Mate. A 10–20% tip is customary to show your appreciation for their hard work.
Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, just show up ready for some fishing! Some fish have special regulations, including when you can keep them. If you don't know what to expect, ask the captain.
It's never a bad idea to bring a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen (non-spray). There will be some drinks on offer, but let the captain know if you wish to bring your own. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be some light snacks provided on board.
