Adventure Fishing Tours 

Our family had a great time. Captains Dave and JoJo were both extremely knowledgeable and professional. They really go out of their way to make the trip will go smoothly before you step on the boat. They were prepared for all the kids as well as the adults. The boat is amazing and more than adequately stocked. The fishing was great. We requested certain fish as we just caught salmon on another trip. We got them all. We all got to actually fish for everything. The kids brought up their own fish and were very proud of themselves. While it wasn’t the intention of the trip, we got to see many whales and even orcas. We saw just as much as the whale watching boats. We will have all our fish processed and sent home. We didn’t have to do anything as they work directly with a local company. I can’t say enough about how good the experience was. We are already looking to do a several day trip with them as the boat is equipped and designed for a multi-day adventure.

We had a fantastic time on the Sir Reel with JoJo, Dave, and deckhand Toin. Booking was very easy and communicating with the crew was simple before the trip. We came in on a cruise ship and took a taxi to the docks, took about 15 minutes. Ship was beautiful and massive haha. Weather was very nice so didn't have to worry about choppy waters, but even if we did I'm sure we would've been fine. Captain Dave gave us an update on the current fishing then took us to his spot. He put us on the fish right away and boy did we catch a lot of Cod and Halibut. We caught so much that we had time to troll for a few hours for king salmon. Hooked up on 2 but lost them both before we could land them. Captain Dave and JoJo were so easy to talk to and shared their knowledge about the area with us throughout the trip. We also got some delicious scones and salmon dip while on the water so thanks again for that JoJo! I would highly recommend this charter to anyone who wants a great time on the water. I plan to use them for all my future charters out here going forward. Thanks again for the wonderful time!

Captain Dave and JoJo were simply outstanding, warm, friendly, welcoming, true fishing professionals and a great team and what a great Boat. Our family had such a blast, and laughed from the time we stepped onto the boat until we stepped off. I would highly recommend this trip to anyone, expert or novice. It was an awesome fishing afternoon! Captain Dave and Jojo took excellent care of us and put us on the fish ! “Sir Reel” was awesome accommodations for the trip and appetizers were on point ! Would definitely recommend them and we will be back for sure ! Mr B, the pet rabbit was a great crew mate!

We had such a great day with Dave and JoJo! They are so fun and helpful! Jojo had Great homemade snacks! We had a blast catching halibut! Very knowledgeable about the area and fishing, we would definitely go with them again!

Captain Dave & First mate Jo Jo were the best! they welcomed our family and even had homemade snacks. the trip was beautiful boat ride. We only caught 2 fish 😞 but they weren't biting! better luck next time, we recommend the crew and experience. it was super comfortable. Enjoy!

We had such an incredible time on our 6 hour halibut fishing charter in Juneau, Alaska with Captains Dave & Jojo! We caught our limit of halibut and even reeled in a beautiful yelloweye rockfish. From start to finish, they went above and beyond to make the trip special. When we arrived, they greeted us with warm scones and a locally made jam and after fishing, they treated us to the most delicious, smoked salmon salad.. such a thoughtful touch. They were fantastic with our three kids, making the whole afternoon fun and relaxed. The highlight for the kids (besides the fish!) was meeting Jojo’s bunny, Mr. B, who lives aboard the boat. This was easily one of the best charter boat experiences we’ve had in our 5+ trips to Southeast Alaska. Dave & Jojo even helped process our catch when all the regular fish processors were booked during the salmon derby, this was a lifesaver since we wanted to fly our fish back home to Seattle. We can’t recommend them enough. If you’re in Juneau and want an unforgettable fishing adventure with amazing people, book with Dave & Jojo. Truly a 5-star experience!

I would absolutely with no hesitation recommend Adventure Fishing Tours if you are wanting to fish in Juneau. Captian Dave and JoJo are a charming couple, consummate professionals that know the area well and took us right to the fish. The boat and equipment were first class and we had 4 people that all caught fish. I can’t imagine how it could have been any better!!!

This was my wife’s and mine first fishing trip in Alaska. I can honestly say that it was the BEST trip ever! We were lucky enough to catch a variety of fish to include salmon, halibut and cod. We also saw whales and Orcas. Captain Dave and Jojo are truly amazing people! The fishing trip was awesome but their company was even better. Highly recommend them!
