Book your next trip with Cabo Mahi Mahi and find out what the fishing in Cabo San Lucas is all about. With Captain Jose at the helm, you'll have a knowledgeable and experienced guide.

These waters are known for Amberjack, Black Marlin, Mahi Mahi, Jack Crevalle, Blue Marlin, Sailfish, Roosterfish, Striped Marlin, Yellowfin Tuna, Wahoo, and more – with any luck, it won't take long to hook into some. You can expect to do some light tackle fishing, trolling, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area. Capt. Jose also offers kite fishing.

Thinking of bringing the whole family? Kids are absolutely welcome! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there's one on board. Also remember to bring snacks for a boost of energy when needed!

Your vessel for the day is Living the Dream, a 51' Riviera sportfishing vessel with capacity for 10 passengers. It has outriggers, downriggers, a fighting chair, and all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. What's more, this vessel is wheelchair accessible. Your captain will provide rods and reels, as well as lures. Live bait is on offer, but you should ask the captain whether you'll be catching it yourself.

There will be a First Mate on board to help your trip run smoothly. A 10–20% tip is customary to show your appreciation for their hard work.

Before coming aboard, you'll need to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.

A few items to bring include sunscreen (non-spray), a hat, bottled water, and sunglasses. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

For more information about fishing aboard Living the Dream, contact the captain below.

very professional, fun trip!!

I go on a bunch of charters every year and can solidly recommend this one. The captain and crew where very knowledgeable and put us on fish right away. The equipment is very well maintained and they offered a full service from cleaning the fish to providing bait. We were not extra charged for anything, something that is very rare in Mexico! I don't understand the one bad review from a 'experienced' fisherman who is upset about not catching anything. It is called fishing, not catching and anyone experienced knows that the occasional day happens when the fish are just not around. Happily that was not our experience and we had several Mahi Mahi to take home including one monster over 5'. Strongly recommend.
