Savage Pursuit Guide Service – Detroit River
Wyandotte has a fish with your name on it, so let Savage Pursuit Guide Service help you catch it! With Captain Aaron at the helm, you'll benefit from years of knowledge and experience.
Fishing around here will often see you targeting Walleye, and more with any luck.
On these trips, you can expect to jig using light tackle.
are welcome, so go ahead and bring the whole family along! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Snacks are also a good idea!
You'll be dropping lines from a 28' Angler Qwest Pro Troll 826-DLX center console with room for 6 passengers. It comes with outriggers, downriggers, and all the essentials. What's more, this vessel is wheelchair accessible. Capt. Aaron will supply rods and reels for you, along with lures. Live bait is included, but it's good to ask about this so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
You will need to purchase a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.
A few items to bring include sunglasses, sunscreen (non-spray), and bottled water. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor, NO glass bottles.
Your trip with Savage Pursuit Guide Service is just a click away, so why not make it happen?

We didn’t get as many fish as we were hoping for, but the weather was a bit of a letdown. Still, we had a great time, and his boat is perfect if you have kids. The larger deck space was a huge help. I took my three boys out, and thankfully, no one got any hooks in their fingers. So it’s a great day for everybody. Captain Aron went above and beyond for us to land Fish deck. Would recommend him to anyone who has children.

Thank you for the great review! We work hard to provide a fun, safe, and productive fishing experience, and we’re glad it showed during your trip.

Aaron, and his son/first mate, not only have a great boat, equipement, and knowledge/experience, but more importantly will put the work in to ensure you catch fish and have a good time no matter what the conditions might be on any given day. Highly recommend, we’ll be looking forward to hopefully another trip with Savage Pursuit in the very near future.

Fishing was fun, better if more fish would have cooperated, Captain Aaron and Caleb did everything in their power to try and find what the fish wanted, had a few takers. Would recommend them and fish with them again. very knowledgeable and willing to do anything to get you on fish
