Killin’ Time Charters offers to take you on a fun-packed fishing adventure out of Pompano Beach, Florida. Join Captain Thomas Oberrender and let him take you on the area’s offshore waters full of many prized species you’ll have fun chasing. The captain knows the area well and will make sure you have a safe, exciting, and enjoyable time on the water. Hop aboard and start your next fishing adventure in Florida!
Your boat for the day is a restored 53’ Hatteras saltwater fishing boat that comfortably fits up to 6 anglers. This mighty boat runs on twin 475 HP Detroit diesel engines and will take you to the fish in no time. Apart from full-featured navigation electronics, the boat is equipped with a fighting chair, outriggers, downriggers, and a livewell.
You can also use a flybridge, toilet, and a kitchen. To make your experience even better, the boat features a multimedia system, air-conditioning, a refrigerator, and an ice-box. There will even be a first mate on board to give you any help you may need.
Using light and heavy tackle, you can bottom, deep, and kite fish as well as troll for Blackfin Tuna, Mahi, Wahoo, Swordfish, Sailfish, and King Mackerel. Feel free to take your catch home and enjoy lovely meals with your family or friends.
Captain Thomas will have the fishing gear, live bait, and lures ready when you arrive. All required fishing licenses are included with the price of the charter. We have plenty of ice and coolers so bring whatever food and drinks you want for you and your guests.

Fishing Review for Killin’ Time Charters 🎣
Had an incredible time out on the water with Killin’ Time Charters! Captain Tom and Junior were absolutely amazing—super friendly, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to make sure me and my little sister had a blast. We caught a ton of fish and were constantly learning something new. They didn’t just take us fishing—they taught us about local shipwrecks, ocean facts, and gave us a full experience out on the boat. You could tell they really knew their stuff and loved what they do. If you’re looking for a fun, educational, and successful fishing trip, I highly recommend booking with Killin’ Time Charters. These guys know where the fish are and make the whole experience unforgettable!

Wonderful Captain,1st Mate and Family Experience!!!
This was a first time fishing trip in the Pompano Beach area, Hillsboro Inlet. Loved the fact that you didn't have to go hours out on the ocean to begin fishing. Fishing was much closer to the shore than we were use to on past fishing trips in other parts of Florida. Tommy (Captain) and Jr (1st Mate) were amazing, hard working and friendly! They took the time to explain everything to us and to make the trip a great experience for our 2 sons, age 11 and 14yo. My husband and I had just as much fun as they did. The boat was beautiful. The 6 hour trip was a perfect amount of time. The convenience of a/c inside the cabin, bathroom, fridge/coolers, and upper / lower deck all made the experience that much more enjoyable. We caught mahi mahi, blackfin tuna, and barracuda. The cost of the trip was offset by the amount of dinners we were able to have that week from the fresh fish we caught that day, which they filleted for us to take home. I would highly recommend taking a trip with Tommy and JR from Killing Time Charters! Lifetime memories were made!!!

Half Day Trip – Deep Sea Fishing AM
July fishing trip
These guys had us on fish before we were even supposed to be out of the inlet. Spent time fishing instead of traveling to where the fish are. We caught two big sail fish, one 83 inches, a mahi, king, 2 black fin, and a couple barracuda. So much excitement. At one point had three fish on at the same time. These guys were great with the kids, informative, and you can tell they love their job. We will be coming back for that wahoo!

Two hours sportfishing fun
2 firsts in one trip!
We had a great time on this outing, and Tom & Junior were awesome. Even with the short 2 hr trip we booked we were able to experience a couple fantastic firsts: My wife caught her first ever Sailfish! My boys caught their first ever Tunas (which made for a splendid dinner that night). We'd definitely book with them again.

Comfortable boat
Junior the first mate was great. While we did not catch a great quantity of fish we did manage a small dolphin and 2 kings. The AC and salon were perfect for the 2 in our party that suffered from being seasick. A great experience and thanks captain for the cool tunes!

These guys had us on fish before we were even supposed to be out of the inlet. Spent time fishing instead of traveling to where the fish are.
