Book your next trip with Woodys Northwest Fishing & Fun and find out what keeps anglers coming back to Wheeler for more. Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Michael can tell you all about them.
These waters are known for Lingcod, Chinook Salmon, Coho Salmon, and more – with any luck, it won't be long before 'Fish on!' On these trips, it's common to troll and bottom fish using heavy tackle.
Thinking of bringing the whole family? Kids are absolutely welcome! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. And, you can't go wrong with snacks to keep up those energy levels!
You'll be welcome aboard a 21' Willie Boats aluminum fishing boat that holds up to 4 passengers. It comes with everything you need for a productive day on the water. Your captain will provide rods and reels, along with lures. Live bait is on offer, but it's good to ask about this so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
You will need to buy a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.
You can't go wrong when you bring sunscreen (non-spray), bottled water, and sunglasses. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

Awesome experience! Mike was booked, but found us Jamison to guide our fishing trip. He took great care us even found us rain gear to use and stuck it out with us in the rain until we filled our limit and we got a bonus jack!
Mike is clearly a very experienced fisherman and fun guy to go out with. He has a great attitude and was awesome with the 7year old kid we brought along. We caught a nice chinook and came back happy. 5 stars

A great day especially with Ace, Garth and Gus. Excellent
I have loved fishing since I was old enough to walk. It's always humbling and amazing to learn new ways of catching fish, and this is one of the reasons I fell in love with it in the first place. I deeply love the Tillamook area and especially the Trask River, which is probably my favorite place to fish. When I take my customers out, I don't look at my watch – I treat every outing as a fun day with friends!
