it took the whole time to catch a salmon but the captain kept trying different areas. Eventhough we only caught one it was better than the other boats did. The captain was very helpful and positive. He even offered a bathroom break. Also he was willing to accommodate our schedule. FYI. The location listed is Not where you start. it is much closer to town and more convenient

Thanks to Kyle we were able to have an amazing fishing experience. We caught Chinook Salmon, and had so much fun doing so! Kyle is an amazing captain, and we can’t say enough great things!

Kyle is wonderful and really knows where the fish hang out. Everyone in the boat caught at least one fish. He is such great instructor as well. We’ll definitely be back!

My 13 year-old grandson and I booked this trip as part of an annual vacation. This morning, he had never caught a fish. This afternoon he is basking in the sunlight of success. :-). It was a beautiful day and a wonderful experience for us both. Captain Kyle was patient and personable. He did a great job guiding our group and engaging with us along the way. We are already talking about next year.

Kyle set the tone of the fishing trip from the beginning of day with his humor and charm and that allowed all the boat’s passengers to enjoy not only the great fishing but also each other’s company. Even during a difficult situation caused by no one’s fault but perhaps a smart fish all our poles got tangled up and as a team we were quickly able to disentangle them as we already were happy with the tone of the fishing trip. We each caught a fish as well, allowing each other to share the rods that had a fish on.

Captain Kyle was the best guide a mom and 13 year old son could ask for! He was patient and a great teacher to my budding angler. Fishing is all about - well the fishing - not always the catch. The fishing was fun and he made it feel easy. We got lots of bites and caught three fish - one worth a pic! The coffee was hot, the float was beautiful with waterfalls and all. Kyle is an expert on the river - and the boat was well equipped for the trip. We can’t wait to do it again with Kyle! My son came home asking to go out again! Now that’s a success!

Kyle was a terrific guide and put us on fish after only a few hours. He is super personable and a great coach for both beginner and experienced fishermen. He called ahead of time to make sure we were all set and knew where to go so we had a super easy and smooth trip. Plus coffee and mini donuts!! What more could you want?! :) Thanks for a great trip!

Captain Kyle put out 6 crab pots and we got 18 Dungeness crab. We fished Tillamook Bay. No one we saw caught a fish, but us. Though we saw one boat catch 2 real rocks which none of us thought was possible. Felt bad pulling in a 14 lbs Spring Salmon near them. The five of us had fun swapping stories with the Captain.

Kyle was an amazing guide! We only did a 4 hour morning and he got us all on fish and our limit! Highly recommend!

Kyle rebooked our trip after we were double booked for a late fall trip and found us an abundance of fish. My wife had never salmon fished before and caught a coho and a nice chinook. Kyle was patient and worked to put us on fish. Couldn't have had a better first experience for my wife.
