Depending on the season, you might hook into Great Barracuda, Wahoo, Skipjack Tuna, Amberjack, Bonefish, Bonito, Cero Mackerel, Cobia, Mahi Mahi, Black Grouper, Horse-eye Jack, King Mackerel (Kingfish), and anything else that bites. On these trips, you can expect to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle. Capt. Luis also offers fly fishing. For the more adventurous among you, there's spearfishing.

You'll be dropping lines from a 27' Imemsa panga with room for 10 passengers. It comes with all the essentials. You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, as well as lures. Live bait is included.

There will be a First Mate on board to help your trip run smoothly. Mates work hard to make your trip count, so a tip is customary.

Full Day Deep Sea Fishing on November 23, 2025 • 2 adults

We had an absolutely incredible day on the water with Luis and Hector. These guys truly know how to fish — constantly adjusting tactics and locations to keep things productive, all while sharing fascinating information about the area. We caught plenty of big barracuda and bonito, and even hooked what was likely a wahoo until a shark claimed it first! You could tell from start to finish that they were giving it everything they had, and we appreciated their effort and energy the whole 10 hours. An unforgettable trip and a fantastic crew — highly recommended.

Great day on the water with captain Luis

8 Hour Trip – BBQ on May 30, 2025 • 3 adults

My two friends and I booked a full day fishing trip and beach BBQ with captain Luis. I felt like I was asking a lot when I requested the chance to catch fish with bait and tackle, do a beach BBQ on the lagoon side of the island and try some spear fishing and snorkeling in a less populated spot than the marine park. But Captain Luis accommodated every request and more. We caught some big barracuda and had an amazing lunch on a beautiful beach with a gang of frigate birds hounding us for leftovers (throwing fish leftovers up in the air and having them swoop down to grab them was a highlight for sure). Then went and snorkeled by the reef and tried our hand at spear fishing. We saw plenty of nurse sharks and rays without the crowds at shark alley and sat in the boat to clean our catch before bringing it back to a local restaurant to be cooked for us. Most importantly captain Luis was extremely knowledgeable, patient and a great teacher. If you're heading to San Pedro it would be a missed opportunity to not do a day out on the water like this and is a great opportunity to get to know some locals!

4 hour Trip – Reef Fishing (AM) on November 19, 2025 • 8 adults

Captain Luis and Hector just took us on probably the best fishing charter I've ever been on! We caught 3 barracudas, 2 mackerel, a snapper and a yellow jack. super experienced, quick to tie knots and get us set up and getting bites right away. They were super friendly, took us to 4 or 5 different spots, and sent us home with enough fish to make dinner 3 times for 7 people. Highly recommend 👌

If you are in San Pedro Belize, you should book any fishing trip with Luis. We did the deep sea and the reef fishing and had great trips for each. We brought part of our catch from each day and had local restaurants cook our fish, it was the perfect ending to a perfect fishing trip. I have charted boats in Cabo San Lucas, Nassau in the Bahamas, every part of California Pacific Ocean, Alaska, Florida, and even Europe, places like Croatia and Italy, and I never have had as much fun as I did on his guided tours. I can't wait to back to Belize and do it again. Ultimate respect for this captain.

I've been competitive bass fishing for over 30+years and guiding for several years myself. Luis comes from a fishing family and knows his chosen profession well. From the bait catching, to explaining what we were going to fish for, and the places he took us, it was easy for me to recognize he is passionate about what he does and knows his craft well. His 1st mate was top notch! Both are very personnable and great at explaining reasons behind what we were doing. Lines were ALWAYS fresh with live bait. We caught plenty of fish to keep my party of 5 fed for 3+ days. Unfortunately the weather was a little windy and kept us inside the reef but I have know doubt we would have gotten into them if we went out. To solidify this review, my 11 yo son when asked what our best part of our trip to Belize was, he commented ' "Dad that's easy, the fishing trip!! I liked the guys, they were fun and we laughed alot and caught alot of fish, can we go back and go with them again?" You can't go wrong booking a trip fishing in Belize, but if you want a trip where the guide puts your wishes 1st, knows the area, and makes you feel welcome to be there, and gives you great service, look no further. You will be glad you did. Tight lines wveryone!!
