Your fishing machine for the day is a 23' Shoalwater flats boat with room for 4 passengers. It comes with everything you need for a productive day on the water. Rods, reels, and tackle are included, along with lures. Live bait is also included.
The charter boat covers your fishing license, just show up ready for a good time! Keep in mind that you may release some fish due to regulations. If you don't know what to expect, ask the captain.
Don't forget to bring sunglasses, and sunscreen (non-spray). There will be water on ice, but let the captain know if you wish to bring your own drinks.

Our family did the 3-hr night tour, and it was perfect for our 13 & 9 year olds in tow. Dan was helpful and knowledgeable, and did a great job managing four reels, sometimes dealing with tangled lines and multiple catches happening all at once. He knew a lot about the area we fished in, was professional, and it was apparent he had immense knowledge and experience in fishing. He kept the fish biting, flawlessly casting reels for me and my daughter, who were somewhat (ok, majorly) lacking in fishing experience. If you want to get a taste of Florida fishing, avoid the sun, and have an amazing family experience, without all the legwork, this is the fishing experience for you! The added dolphin bopping around while we fished for the last hour was an added bonus!
Had an absolutely incredible time fishing in Punta Gorda! Our guide was outstanding – knowledgeable, patient, and put us right on the fish. We caught an amazing variety, including snook, mangrove snapper, cobia, tarpon, jack, and trout. The action was non-stop, and the scenery made it even better. Couldn’t have asked for a better day on the water. Highly recommend this trip to anyone looking for a top-tier fishing experience!

Highly recommend booking a trip with Reel Excitement Fishing Charters, had such a great time on the 6 hour trip. Caught an abundance of redfish, among other species including snook, trout, and snapper. Had a wonderful experience and it is great for the family too! Booked another trip with the family and they had a blast!
I've fished with Justin a number of times and each time it has been great! He knows the waterways so well and definitely has the program figured out! I caught more fish with Justin in one day than I did the entire week combined and I fished everyday. Book a trip with Justin and you'll have a great time! He is a great down-to-earth guy. You wont be disappointed! I can't wait to get back over there an fish with him again!
