Spend the day with Low Tide Adventures and find out what the fishing in Corpus Christi is all about! Your guide for the day is Captain Allen, giving you access to years of professional experience.
Fishing around here will often see you targeting Redfish, Speckled Trout, Black Drum, Flounder, Sheepshead, and more if conditions are right. You can expect to do some light tackle fishing, popping, drifting, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Looking to get the whole family outdoors? Kids are absolutely welcome! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there's one on board. Don't forget to bring snacks so that nobody gets grumpy on an empty stomach!
Your trip begins aboard a 23' Majek M2 Illusion that can carry up to 5 passengers. It comes with all the essentials. Capt. Allen will provide rods and reels for you, as well as lures. Live bait is on offer, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
You will need to buy a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.
Don't leave home without sunglasses, sunscreen (non-spray), bottled water, and a hat. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

I chose Allen to be the guide for my husband on a 4 hr trip.
From the moment of booking Allen was very accommodating and responsive answering all of my questions and assisting wherever he could. Despite challenging weather, Allen set out to give my husband a wonderful experience and he accomplished this with flying colors. My husband couldn’t stop talking about how great of a guy Allen was and how he had such a great experience catching his limit of trout and a massive delicious drum. We will definitely be using him again in the near future. We can’t recommend him enough.

We booked a charter with Low Tide Adventures and Captain Allen, and it was an absolute blast! Captain Allen went above and beyond, doing his scouting ahead of time to make sure my sons and I had the ultimate adventure. The fishing wasn’t perfect, but having Captain Allen there made all the difference—we were able to fill the box and had a great time doing it. I would not hesitate to book with Captain Allen and Low Tide Adventures again. The next time we’re here, we will definitely be using him! Thanks again, Captain Allen!

6 hr trip with Allen Haggerton
Full Day Live Bait Trip on February 24, 2025
I was looking for guide who would take my boat (new to Bay fishing) out explain the ins and outs of my 22ft Sea Fox. Also, to show places I could take it to find fish. He was very knowledgeable and explained things very thoroughly in a manner I could understand. After answering my questions we proceeded out to a couple of spots. We ended up catching 8 keeper black drum, caught lots of small trout and 3 oversized black drum

Picked Low Tide fishing with Captain Allen when we saw the reviews and it did not disappoint, Choose the 8 hour trip and we were put on fish all day long. He cleaned, bagged and labeled our catch so we were able to go back and cook. Thanks Captain Allen.

Great Bay Fishing Trip!
Full Day Trip on May 3, 2025
We had a great time fishing with Captain Allen. He was personable, knowledgeable, and worked hard to put us on fish. His boat and equipment were top notch, comfortable and clean; and Captain Allen made sure we had a safe and enjoyable trip the entire morning. We limited out on black drum and were able to hook up to some nice reds.
