Capt. Cody Simmons All Water Guide Service 

My name is Capt. Cody Simmons, and I’ve been a USCG-approved captain for 5 years with over 10 years of experience fishing the waters from the Laguna Madre to Baffin Bay. I specialize in wade fishing for speckled trout with artificial lures, and the chase for big “gator trout” has always been my passion, especially during the spring through winter months. During our trips, I enjoy teaching clients how to read the water the way I see it and how to properly present lures to each area we fish, whether we’re working tails and Corky Fat Boys around the rocks of Baffin Bay or targeting the white potholes across the amazing flats of the Laguna Madre. I offer trips year-round, weather permitting, and fish out of Bluff’s Landing in Corpus Christi, Texas, targeting speckled trout, redfish, flounder, and black drum. I offer live-bait boat trips using live croaker or live shrimp, with Waterloo rods and reels provided, as well as artificial-lure wade fishing trips, where I provide the lures and tackle. For wade fishing trips, clients must bring their own rods and reels, or a rod and reel can be rented for $75 if needed. My boat is a 21’ Marshal Cat powered by a 150 HP Suzuki SS outboard, with plenty of room for 1–4 clients. I provide ice and bottled water on every trip, along with your drink of choice upon request.
