Jane C Sportfishing
Ready to cast a line in Ensenada? Look no further than Mendoza's Sportfishing! Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Samuel can tell you all about the local fishery.
Depending on the season, you might hook into Yellowtail Amberjack, Bonito, Bluefin Tuna, Yellowfin Tuna, Pacific Barracuda, and who knows what else! You can expect to do some spinning, trolling, jigging, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Planning a family adventure? Kids are absolutely welcome! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there's one on board. Feel free to bring your own snacks to keep their stamina going!
Your boat for the day is a 36' Thermodyne sportfishing vessel. It comes with all the essentials. There's a toilet on board for your convenience.
Rods and reels are not included, so ask the captain about bringing your own or renting some for an extra cost. Be sure to ask about bait and lures as well. Live bait is on offer, but you should ask the captain whether you'll be catching it yourself.
You might need to buy a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.
You can't go wrong when you bring sunscreen (non-spray), a hat, bottled water, and sunglasses. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
Go ahead and treat yourself to a day on the water with Mendoza's Sportfishing.

Besides the hidden last minute costs for license fee (USD 140), my group and I really enjoyed our trip. 10 anglers each got a double hooked line to cast for bottom feeder fish, they were all fileted and we had them cooked in Ensenada. Plenty of fish were caught!
The reservation states that fishing licenses are not included, but this helps us improve communication with future clients and remind them, thank you for joining us, have a good day

excellent trip
