About the Captain

Capt Miles is a Pensacola local, who grew up fishing with his Dad on the waters in and around Perdido Key. As a child, he competed and won local fishing tournaments, and once in high school, he started working as a deckhand in the local charter fleet. He realised that he loved teaching people how to fish and showing them a great time on the water, which led him to start Tradition Fishing Charters.

Captain Willie was very nice and professional. The three of us were the only ones on the boat. He baited the hooks and casted the lines out for us. We hadn’t used the type of reels he had. Captain Willie took us to different places to try. We even got to see some dolphin out playing. The Gulf water was real choppy the day we were out. Not many people catching anything that day. We had great weather for our trip given that it had stormed earlier that morning. My son had caught a catfish. Before we headed back, Captain Willie had caught a fish and let my son reel it in. Great trip!

Sorry you feel this way.  No one has else has ever complained about our tackle. Capt. Willie and myself work very hard to keep our tackle in good shape. Hopefully you’ll give us another chance someday.

Had a great day out fishing. Me and 10 year old daughter went out with captain Willie caught several fish and had a very good time. Had a few minor problems with tackle but have never been on a fishing trip without some. Captain Willie did all he could to make our trip and my daughter’s first experience a great one. Did what he could to keep our hooks in the water as much as possible.  If back in the area will be calling Tradition Fishing charters again.  For some reason my photos won’t upload….
