If you're here to make the most of fishing in Winchester Bay, look no further than All American Guide Service.
Depending on the time of year, you might hook into Rockfish, Ling Cod, or Salmon. We also offer trips for Halibut and Tuna or river trips for Sturgeon and Shad.
For these species, you're likely to troll and bottom fish using light tackle. We use top quality gear and even Daiwa Tanacom electric reels.
Capt. Jason welcomes anglers of all ages, including kids, so get 'em offline and onto the water! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. And, you can't go wrong with snacks!
Capt. Jason operates a 26' Edge Marine sportfishing vessel that holds up to 6 passengers. It has autopilot, Sonar, Radar and all safety features as well as the essentials no fishing machine can run without. Capt. Jason will supply rods and reels for you, along with lures. Live bait is included (where applicable).
You need to purchase a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain.
It's never a bad idea to bring a hat, sunglasses, bottled water, and sunscreen (non-spray). If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

The plan was to go for halibut but the current fishing reports were for success not good. We discussed other options that had better chance of success and I decided to go for coho instead for a better chance of success. We would have tried for halibut if was my decision. All-American was the only fishing guide service that I found that didn't require at least two people for booking a fishing trip with mixed parties. As I was the only one technically booked for a halibut trip the day before when I discussed it with Jason and changed it to a coho trip he managed to find two more people to go which made the trip more enjoyable. I just want to make it clear the change in targeted species was my decision and not Jason's because of client #s. We did get our of coho. I am looking forward to my next trip with Jason. No I don't usually do reviews but had such a good trip I did.

Our Captain, Jason, took the time to make our experience as a group and as individuals was fun and safe
A couple members of our group had a hard time with sea sickness. He knew just what to say and do to help them through it.
I was very comfortable in the boat and confident in Jason’s skills. Plus…we went away with our limit of crab!
I would not hesitate to book another fishing trip with the All American Guide Service in the future.

8 Hour Trip – Halibut on July 22, 2025 • 1 adult
Before this trip, I'd never had a trip where I caught my limit of salmon within a couple of hours of leaving the dock. We had a blast everytime the clickers went off. Captain Jason was very informative about the different setups used and gave us some good laughs. I look forward to my next adventure with All American Guide Service.
