Zack will be offering spring bass fishing trips on Onieda Lake from May 11th to June 13th. You will be targeting Smallmouth and Largemouth bass with artificial lures. This is an amazing time of year on Onieda with the bass being in all stages of spawning, pre-spawn and post spawn.
His goal each and everyday is to teach new or experienced anglers the most effective ways to target bass on this body of water. His goal is to have every angler leave feeling like they learned something new and have some great memories.
Capt. Zack welcomes children aboard, so go ahead and bring the whole family along! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Also remember to bring snacks so that nobody goes hungry!
Capt. Zack runs a 20' Ranger bass boat with capacity for 3 passengers. It comes with everything you need for a productive day on the water. You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, as well as lures.
You will need to get a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain.
Some essentials to bring are bottled water, sunscreen (non-spray), and sunglasses. There will be some drinks on offer, but let the captain know if you wish to bring your own. Alcohol is not allowed.
Go ahead and treat yourself to a day on the water with Zack Eggleston Fishing.
