These waters are known for Largemouth Bass, Crappie, and more – with any luck, you'll hook into a few! For these species, you're likely to bottom fish using light or heavy tackle. Capt. Colton also offers fly fishing, but you may need to bring your own fly gear. You're free to take home some of the fish you catch within the legal limit.

Capt. Colton runs a 22' Triton bay boat with space for 4 adults or 5 with children. It comes with fighting chairs and everything you need for a productive day on the water. Rods, reels, and tackle are covered by the charter, as well as lures.
You will need to get a state fishing license before the trip if you are 16 and over. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.

Our trip with Colton Hester of Vero Beach Fishing Charters was nothing short of amazing. Headwaters Lake is a hidden gem, and Colton knew exactly how to make the most of it.
