8 Hour Trip – Deep Dropping on February 13, 2026 • 4 adultsThis was a fantastic fishing experience with Local Knowledge Fishing Tours. Captain Howard communicated with me for months prior to our trip, responding within 1-2 hours. He picked us up at our rental home and delivered us back after the fishing trip - he was delightful and clearly committed to our having a great experience. Captain Rado and First Mate Mikey did a tremendous job. The Captain found fish repeatedly on deep dropping 400-1000 feet. He really was outstanding. The First Mate was also excellent - he worked very hard to keep the boat clean, hooks baited, and removing fish. After the trip was completed, Captain Howard cleaned our fish which we had for dinner over the next three nights. I would recommend this trip for experienced fishermen interested in having a highly competent and enthusiastic crew.

Capt Howard Thomas grew up on the eastern shores of Grand Bahama where he developed his love and appreciation for the flats, ocean and sea life. He was also inspired by the many bonefish guides and boat captains in his family. Mr. Thomas is a captain, certified scuba diver and a bonefish guide. He has over 15 years of experience. Capt Howard is extremely informative and knowledgeable in the fishing industry. Because of the many inspirations and knowledge, Howard and his partner Garardo Davis decided to start their own fishing tour company January 2024 called, Local Knowledge. Gerardo Davis is a McClean's Town native with over 14years experience as an offshore captain. He also specializes in deep dropping and bottom fishing. In addition, Gerardo is a boat mechanic. Mr. Davis has a warm and calm demeanor; he is patient and has great instructional skills.
