Classic Time Sportfishing 

Spend the day with Classic Time Sportfishing and get hooked on fishing in Conneaut!

Depending on the season, you might hook into Walleye, Yellow Perch, Rainbow Trout (Steelhead), and whatever else is biting. Depending on the species you’re after, you may find yourself fishing with heavy tackle, trolling, or maybe something more specialized in this area.

If you're traveling with the family, you will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. Feel free to bring your own snacks for a boost of energy when needed!

Capt. Michael welcomes you aboard a 28' Carolina Classic with room for 6 passengers. It comes with outriggers, downriggers, and all the essentials. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. Rods, reels, and tackle are provided, as well as lures.

Trips are run with the help of a First Mate. Mates often work for tips and it's customary to offer them a 10–20% tip.

You will need to purchase a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.

It's recommended to bring sunglasses, bottled water, and sunblock (non-spray). Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
