This was SUCH a great time. Capt Perry and JP were phenomenal. They were so warm and friendly. JP is the best first mate I’ve ever met. He was quick with rebaiting hooks, finding great spots and the best part, he was GREAT with our 7-8 year old girls. He would tell them all the things, he would let them reel in the “big one”. On the ride back he sat with my daughter and showed her nest on the pylon, the ship wreck boat over there, etc. Capt Perry was fantastic too! He was great with the kids and showing them the parts of the fish and teaching them about the fish etc. Lastly, both were friendly and professional. Always asking what we wanted to do but then also giving me updates and suggestions to make the most of our trip. He stayed in touch through out the whole planning process as well as trip itself. Time flew by, we have so much fun. I can’t wait to book again. We did near shore/inshore. They had all the equipment needed and all the varieties of bait. We went out for 4 hours in the morning. 4 adults and two 7-8 year old girls. Variety of experience amongst us all (none of us experts tho)

We went out on a half-day charter with Good Times Fishing Co., and I honestly can’t say enough good things. It was me and my three girls (15, 13, and 12) — none of them are really into fishing — but Captain Perry and JP made it such a fun, relaxed day. They were patient, kind, and just great with the kids. The girls had a blast, learned a ton, and now they can't wait to go again. You can tell these guys really love what they do, and they know their stuff both fishing and boating. It felt like hanging out with friends who happen to be amazing guides. This trip meant a lot to us, and we’ve already decided it’s going to be a yearly tradition. If you are looking for a great fishing trip for you and your family, Capt. Perry and his first mate JP, are the ones that you want to take you out on the water! They were both very patient with us and helped our boys and their friend (ages 10, 11, 11). Both of them explained everything that was going on and what type of fish we caught. This was the boys first trip and they loved it and had a great experience.

We had a really fun time with Captain Perry and his son JP. Both were incredibly patient and kind. They had great positive energy and made sure to hype up the kids (9, 14). They were excellent teachers. This sets them apart. Both were very knowledgeable and passionate but treated us with great respect. Would highly recommend this trip for all skill levels and with kids especially. Thanks for the fun time and memories

Perry and JP had us catching fish early and often. They did a great job managing a boat of six with multiple younger anglers. The two kept our lines in the water and bait flowing so we could focus on catching fish. The only complaint is we couldn’t fish with these guys longer! If you find yourself looking for great guys to get you on fish and you’re in the North Myrtle Beach area look up Good Times and have a Great Time!

We had an amazing fishing trip with Captain Perry and his First Mate JP! We caught lots of fish and learned a great deal about how to catch more fish and information about the fish we caught! The boat was very clean and well stocked for our half day of fishing. I would highly recommend Captain Perry and JP if you want a fun and entertaining day of fishing! They are The Best!!!

This was our first trip out and it was amazing. The weather was great. The kids all caught fish. We learned a bunch about salt water fishing. The captain and first mate were knowledgeable and were always there when we needed help. I would definitely recommend this trip to anyone who has kids that want to try salt water fishing.

I took my grandchildren fishing for the first time could not be more pleased with the crew the captain their patients with my grandchildren. Thank you, Captain Perry and JP for a truly memorable experience.
