Big Rock Fishing Charters
If you're ready to go fishing in Harrisburg, we've got you covered with Big Rock Fishing Charters. With Captain Matthew at the helm, you're in knowledgeable and experienced hands.
Around here it's common to catch Smallmouth Bass, Catfish, and more with any luck. On these trips, it's common to bottom fish using light tackle. Fishing on these trips is strictly for sport and everything you catch will be released.
Young ones are welcome, so the whole family can come and unplug for the day! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there's one on board. And, you can't go wrong with snacks to maintain your energy throughout the trip!
Capt. Matthew welcomes you aboard a 18' Crestliner 1870 river jet boat, that holds up to 3 passengers. It has all the essentials no fishing machine can run without.
You will need to buy a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.
A few items to bring include bottled water, sunblock (non-spray), and sunglasses. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is not allowed.
The click of a button is the only thing keeping you from a great day on the water with Big Rock Fishing Charters!

We had a beautiful morning on the river today with Matt. He was knowledgeable and easy going. The bite was tough, and he searched for fish for my two sons and I. My oldest son caught his PB smallmouth!! We will be calling Matt again in the future!
Thanks for the great review and looking to having you guys again!
Captain Matt was incredible from start to finish! It is evident he is passionate about his work and made sure we had a memorable experience.

Great day on the Susquehanna with big rock charters. Not only did we catch some nice bass, we caught one 20 incher!
We booked Capt Matt for my son’s 14th bday. He was great with kids, a fun personality, great gear and boat. Will book again.
Thanks so much! That was a great morning! Would love to have you guys back!
