Snook, Black Grouper, Lane Snapper, Mangrove Snapper, Mutton Snapper, Flounder, Tripletail, and more can be found in these waters if you cast your line at the right time of year. On these trips, you can expect to troll and bottom fish using light tackle.
Capt. Rick welcomes anglers of all ages, including kids, so feel free to make a family day out of it! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Also remember to bring snacks to ward off any mid-trip fatigue!
You'll be casting lines from a 22' Sea Fox center console that can carry up to 4 passengers. It comes with all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, along with lures. Live bait is included, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
The charter boat covers your fishing license, just show up ready for a good time! Be mindful that some species may have special rules or limited seasons. If you don't know what to expect, ask the captain.
It's recommended to bring bottled water, sunblock (non-spray), and sunglasses. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

My son and I requested a last minute trip and super thankful Captain Rick took us out. We stayed inshore and targeted redfish, trout and snook in the mangroves. Used live shrimp for bait and he was super attentive to being sure we had everything we needed throughout the trip. Brought over a dozen fish to the boat including good size trout and a memorable redfish. I would highly recommend him to anyone. Awesome experience.

Had an amazing day with captian rick. We got on 3 triple tail, a couple mangrove snapper, and a handful of other fish. Captian rick provides all the things you need to catch fish and have a great time.
Captain Rick made our day out so perfect. He helped keep us going with bait and taking fish off the line and an extra pole going as well to maximize our catches. Then to shoee to clean all of the beautiful fish we caught. My first time ever out fishing in rhe ocean and Captain Rick made it most memorable. Thank you again for a perfect day. We will be back!
