Depending on the species you’re after, you may find yourself spinning, trolling, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area. Capt. Layla can also have you Flounder gigging.

Families making a day of it will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Snacks are permitted onboard — bring your favorites for a boost of energy when needed!

Capt. Layla runs a 22' Xpress Aluminum fishing with room for 6 passengers. It comes with all the essentials.

Capt. Layla will provide rods and reels for you, along with lures. Live bait is on offer, but it's good to ask about this so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.

The charter boat covers your fishing license, so all you have to do is look forward to your trip! Be mindful that some species may have special rules or limited seasons. If you don't know what to expect, ask the captain.

Some essentials to bring are bottled water, sunglasses, and sunblock (non-spray). If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
