Kingfisher Charters offers a trip tailored to anyone's interests!
Some popular species that we target are Speckled Trout, Redfish, Flounder, Black Drum, Sheepshead, Red Snapper, Spanish Mackerel, Blacktip Shark, Cobia, Tripletail, Whiting, and several others.
Thinking of bringing the whole family? Kids are absolutely welcome! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own.
Capt. Daniel will bring you aboard a 24' Sea Ox center console with space for 6 passengers. It comes with all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. Rods, reels, and tackle are ready for you, as well as lures. Every effort will be made to have live bait available. Wade fishing gear will also be included for wading trips.
Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, so all you have to do is show up ready for a good time!
Want to just take a boat ride or spend a day on the beaches of our barrier islands? We can make that happen too!
It's never a bad idea to bring sleeves, sunglasses, and sunscreen (non-spray). Bottled water will be available for you. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be some light snacks for you on board.

What an absolute blast! My two boys and I had a great time. We started the day off catching bait fish by the pier. There we caught a baby shark, a cutlassfish (looks like a chromed up eel), some white trout, and other small fish.
We moved on to catching redfish off of Cat Island. Both boys got to reel in some good slot redfish. We also caught a big ol’ black drum, and hooked but did not land a 3-4 foot shark.
Daniel was a great guide. He was knowledgeable, patient, and took good care of us. I’d recommend him for anyone looking for a guided trip around Gulfport.

The Most Fun

This was the most fun we have had in a mkng time! Captain Daniel made sure we caught fish. He took is to different spots not letting us sit too long without a bite. Highly recommend. We will be fishing with him again!

Full Day Trip – Red Snapper on May 27, 2025 • 2 adults
Daniel was our captain and despite rough water in the morning he made the trip to the fishing locations interesting and with his knowledge of the area and of the species we were going to fish for. Our first stop resulted in no fish so he took us to another location where we quickly caught our limit of red snapper. We also stopped near an island and again caught a bunch of speckled trout. We’ll definitely book another trip with him next time we are in town. He was great and made the trip a fun experience.

We were blessed to be aboard Captain Taylor's boat. He was a great source of information about the surrounding areas. He took us to locations that allowed us to catch speckled trout (a bunch of them) and we caught two stingrays. The dolphins came within feet of the boat and were so much fun to watch as they were sporting a baby dolphin within the group. We would definitely book this charter again. Captain Taylor was great as a guide. We highly recommend booking with Kingfisher Charters!

Daniel put us on quality fish immediately. I was thoroughly impressed. We caught several species of fish. His boat is clean and he worked with my youngest son. We caught so many fish it was a great time. Highly recommend and we will use him exclusively when we visit Gulfport, Biloxi area.
