Salinity Matters Charters 

Running angling trips out of Gulfport, Salinity Matters Charters invites you to a personalized fishing experience in Alabama and Mississippi Gulf Coast!

Capt. Sonny is here to share his knowledge, dedication, and expertise. You’ll be using techniques like bottom fishing, trolling, drift fishing, jigging, popping, and spinning, depending on what you’re going after. As part of their 4 to 8-hour trips, you can target species like Redfish, Jack Crevalle, Speckled Trout, Flounder, Sheepshead, Tripletail, Mackerel, Cobia, Snapper, and Shark, depending on the current season and weather conditions.

Your adventure begins on board a 22’ Tidewater boat that can fit a maximum of 3 anglers. The boat is equipped with an ice box. All rods, reels, and terminal tackle are included in the price so you can focus on what matters, fishing. The captain will supply all the needed fishing licenses for your trip.

You can keep anything you catch as long as it’s legal to do so, and when you return to the marina, Capt. Sonny will filet your catch for you to take home. There will be bottled water on the boat for your convenience, but you’re always welcome to pack your own drinks and snacks should you want to. Bringing one child under 12 years old with an adult is allowed.
