Spend the day with Urban Peacock Hunters and find out what the fishing in Miami is all about! Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Felipe can tell you all about them.
These waters are known for Peacock Bass, Snook, Tarpon, Largemouth Bass, Snakehead, and more – with any luck, you'll find out for yourself! On the day of your trip you're likely to spin using light tackle.
Thinking of bringing the whole family? Kids are absolutely welcome! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there's one on board. Snacks are permitted onboard — bring your favorites so that nobody gets cranky on an empty belly!
Capt. Felipe will bring you aboard a 14' Tracker aluminum fishing boat that can carry up to 2 passengers. It comes with all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. Capt. Felipe will provide rods and reels for you, as well as lures. Live bait is available, but it's good to ask about this so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
You will need to get a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.
It's recommended to bring sunglasses, bottled water, and sunblock (non-spray). Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
How often would you rather be fishing? Go on and turn that day dream into a reality, with Urban Peacock Hunters.
