If you plan on fishing in Islamorada, look no further than Key2Adventure. Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Eric is prepared to put you on fish.
These waters are known for Bonefish, African Pompano Jack, Redfish, Permit, Jack Crevalle, Blacktip Shark, Red Snapper, Mangrove Snapper, Nurse Shark, Snook, Tarpon, Tripletail, and more – with any luck, you'll have tight lines in no time. For these species, you're likely to drift and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle. Capt. Eric also offers fly fishing, but you may need to bring your own fly gear.
Families who love fishing together will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Snacks are never a bad idea for a boost of energy when needed!
You'll be dropping lines from a 23' Skeeter bay boat that can carry up to 4 passengers. It has all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. Capt. Eric will provide rods and reels for you, as well as lures. Live bait is available, but you should ask the captain whether you'll be catching it yourself.
The charter boat covers your fishing license, so you can drive right over and come aboard without any hassle! Keep in mind that you may release some fish due to regulations. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more.
A few items to bring include sunblock (non-spray), and sunglasses. Drinks are included, free of charge. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
Go ahead and treat yourself to a day on the water with Key2Adventure.
