There's a fish with your name on it in Aransas Pass and Caveman Outdoors will help you catch it! With Captain Will at the helm, you'll have a knowledgeable and experienced guide.

These waters are home to Redfish, Black Drum, Speckled Trout, Flounder, Blacktip Shark, Jack Crevalle, Tripletail, and more if conditions are right. You can expect to do some light tackle fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area. Capt. Will also offers fly fishing.

Families making a day of it will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there's one on board. You're welcome to bring snacks to keep 'em happy!

You'll be dropping lines from a 18' Beavertail skiff that holds up to 2 passengers. It has everything you need for a productive day on the water. Your captain will provide rods and reels, along with lures.

Before coming aboard, it will be necessary to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.

Some essentials to bring are sunscreen (non-spray), a hat, bottled water, and polarized sunglasses. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

Now, time to hit the water with Caveman Outdoors!

Good guide who will work hard to put you on fish
Half Day – Sight Cast/Fly Fishing on August 2, 20252 adults

Would recommend booking with Will if you want peace of mind that your guide will work hard to get you in the fish and will be easy to get along with. Will took us out sightfishing for reds, and although he tried everything to get them to bite, we didnt catch anything. However, neither did the other boats around us, it was just bad conditions all around (falling water level, more wind than forecasted, hot, and tons of other fishing pressure on a busy weekend). I have no doubt that if conditions were better we would have caught because Will had several good spots lined up and knew his stuff.
