Rising Tide Fishing Charters is here to help you experience the stunning waters of Key West. With Captain Reinier at the helm, you'll benefit from years of knowledge and experience.
Fishing around here will often see you targeting Mangrove Snapper, Yellowtail Amberjack, Pacific Barracuda, Tarpon, Snook, Red Grouper, Cero Mackerel, Jack Crevalle, Lionfish, Lane Snapper, Mutton Snapper, Crab, and more with any luck.
Depending on the species you’re after, you may find yourself spinning, popping, drifting, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area. Capt. Reinier also offers fly fishing, but you may need to bring your own fly gear. For the more adventurous among you, there's spearfishing.
Families making of a day of it will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Feel free to bring your own snacks to stay fueled throughout your trip!
Your excursion begins aboard a 22’ center console boat that can carry up to 5 passengers. It comes with all the essentials no fishing machine can run without.
Your captain will provide rods and reels, along with lures. Live bait is included, but it's good to ask about this so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, so all you have to do is look forward to your trip! Keep in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.
Don't forget to bring sunglasses, sunscreen (non-spray), bottled water included. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

Half Day Trip – Tarpon Fishing
Captain Rein and Rising Tide are the best on the rock!
We had an incredible experience with Captain Rein. He was very personable and we were fast friends. Patient, understanding and kind, and alot of fun, Reiner was one of our top highlights of our boys trip and the best fishing charter I have ever been on! (4th time in Key West, sad I didn’t discover him sooner!) So many bad Captains in Key West and Rein defies the odds. If you wanna a good experience, book here. Unless you aren’t cool, cuz nobody messes with my man Rein! Thanks again man, we’ll see you soon! We’ll get Nemo’s killer next time we see you! Past being an awesome captain, we were able to hit limit quickly with his experience of the holes, and he ran his boat like an absolute boss. If it’s your first charter or your 50th, Reiner doesn’t disappoint.

Half Day Trip – Tarpon Fishing
Epic day!!
The captain did exactly what we wanted, he showed up before we were there and had the boat ready to go, had extra bait and had all the equipment we needed. We were specific about what we wanted and he did everything we needed and more! We had a great time on the water. He put us on plenty of fish and even got us a trophy Fish of the day, which was epic! We were extended out there on purpose, and we had such a blast. We found plenty of fish and great snorkeling. Locations in the captain was very knowledgeable and super friendly, would definitely recommend this boat and this captain to anybody who wants a good time on the water! We will be back for sure!

Like fishing with a good friend
Captain Perez is a really fun and down to earth guy, he’s really knowledgeable of the area, fish’s habits, and anything between. He’s fun to fish with and has a lot to offer other than just where to fish. I highly recommend giving him a chance if you’re in the area and want a chill fishing session and some really great site seeing. He’s a great captain and a great person to talk to

Half Day Trip – Flats Fishing
Awesome day in the water
We had a great fishing trip with Capt Rainier! He had the best attitude and willingness to make our trip a memorable experience. He took us fishing in the flats where we caught several mangrove snapper. Then we ran into a pod of dolphins and he allowed us to get in and swim with them. Then after we mentioned we wanted to look for lobster, he took us to a few spots where we caught some lobster. It was a great, fun day with plenty of fishing success!

Great guide, successful trip!!
Guide had a great personality and made the trip lots of fun! He put us on the fish for sure! We were caught off guard that we had to bag our catch and find our own accommodations to clean and filet the fish ourselves as this wasn’t mentioned ahead of the trip. However having known this we would still book this guide again, just come a little better prepared!
