These waters hold game fish like Walleye, and more, depending on the time of year. On these trips, it’s common to troll using light tackle.
Looking to get the whole family outdoors? Kids are absolutely welcome! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there's one on board. Snacks are never a bad idea so that nobody gets grumpy on an empty stomach!
You'll be fishing aboard a 31' Tiara Open Fisherman, a sportfishing boat with capacity for 6 passengers. It comes with downriggers, and everything you need for a productive day on the water. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, along with bait.
Trips are run with the help of a First Mate. A 10–20% tip is customary to show your appreciation for their hard work.
Before coming aboard, it is required to buy a local Michigan fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online.
It's recommended to bring bottled water, sunscreen (non-spray), and sunglasses. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. Any further questions regarding this, please ask.
