Make some memories in Belmar and go fishing with Side Job Charters. Captain James will be your guide, so you'll benefit from years of knowledge and experience.
These waters are known for Bigeye Tuna, Mahi Mahi, White Marlin, Black Seabass, Bluefin Tuna, Striped Bass, Spanish Mackerel, Blue Marlin, Bluefish, Wahoo, King Mackerel (Kingfish), Yellowfin Tuna, and more – with any luck, they'll make your reel scream. Depending on the species you’re after, you may find yourself spinning, popping, trolling, drifting, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Thinking of bringing the whole family? Kids are absolutely welcome! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. You're welcome to bring snacks to ward off any mid-trip fatigue!
Your boat for the day is a 33' L&H sportfishing vessel that can carry up to 6 passengers. It comes with outriggers, and everything you need for a productive day on the water. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. Rods, reels, and tackle are included, along with lures. Live bait is on offer, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
A First Mate will be there to make sure everything is running smoothly. It's customary to tip the Mate 10–20% to show your appreciation.
The charter boat covers your fishing license, just show up ready for a good time! Keep in mind that you may release some fish due to regulations. If you don't know what to expect, ask the captain.
Don't leave home without sunglasses, bottled water, and sunblock (non-spray). If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
Give yourself something to look forward to and book a trip with Side Job Charters!
