You can expect to do some light tackle fishing, trolling, drifting, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Planning a family adventure? Kids are absolutely welcome! Captains and crew are extremely family oriented and kid friendly. If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there's one on board. Feel free to bring your own snacks for a boost of energy when needed!
Your vessel for the day is a 31' center console 'Live Action' with capacity for 6 passengers. It has outriggers, and everything you need for a productive day on the water. There's a toilet on board for your convenience.
You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, as well as lures. Live bait is available, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
Fishing licenses are required. If you book this trip we will send you detailed information about what you need as far as fishing licenses and tags. Some species may be off limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.
Don't forget to bring sunglasses, a hat, sunblock (non-spray), and bottled water. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
The click of a button is the only thing keeping you from a great day on the water with Surfside Beach Charters!

fishing trip was great for conditions outside and storms rolling in later. the crew were very knowledgeable of area and kept us safe. we had no other boats out so we knew the day was not going to be the best. we caught a big black drum a bunch of almost keeper snapper big trout and 1 keeper snapper. Overall the trip was great choppy and worked hard for everything but whats not hard in life. we will be booking another trip in a few momths when the king fish and other fish arrive. thanks for a great time and keeping us safe and entertained.
Our boat Captain's name is Zac/Zach/Zack. Our trip was scheduled for Sunday and an unexpected storm came through that morning. And although it was delayed, he made sure everyone was safe during the charter. Winds was about 15 mph that morning and seas was a bit rough heading out of the port. And although we didn't catch that many fish on the trip, he made sure every possible location was attempted. A very honest Captain who truly works for a living.
Great time out on the water. Captain and crew were awesome. Had a lot of fun with the boys.

Captain Kevin, and captain Rob are awesome people. The weather wasn't looking great for our trip, but captain Kevin gave us a trip we won't forget. Put us on fish, Communication was great, we couldn't have asked for a better trip.

Maximum effort, the guides were awesome! Even though the weather was much less than ideal, they put in the work to ensure we had the best time! Catching a few fish was just a bonus! Highly recommend these fine gentlemen.
