Spend the day with Salty Reels Fishing and get hooked on fishing in North Topsail Beach!

These waters are known for Amberjack, Skipjack, Cobia, Mahi Mahi, Gag Grouper, King Mackerel (Kingfish), Redfish, Black Seabass, Red Snapper, Vermilion Snapper, Spanish Mackerel, Gray Triggerfish, and more – with any luck, you'll hook into a few! You'll target your catch by popping, trolling, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.

Trips with Salty Reels Fishing are kid-friendly, so get 'em offline and onto the water! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Snacks are permitted onboard — bring your favorites to keep their stamina going!

Your vessel for the day is a 24' Pro-Line center console with room for 6 passengers. It has downriggers, and everything you need for a productive day on the water. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. Your captain will provide rods and reels, as well as lures. Live bait is included, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.

Trips are run with the help of a First Mate. Mates work hard to make your trip count, so a 20% tip is customary.

There's no need to buy a fishing license, so you can drive right over and come aboard without any hassle! Keep in mind that you may release some fish due to regulations. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more.

You can't go wrong when you bring sunglasses, and sunscreen (non-spray). There will be some drinks on offer, but let the captain know if you wish to bring your own. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be some light snacks for you on board.

Salty Reels Fishing will make it easy for you to go fishing in North Topsail Beach. So, how about booking that trip?

Best trip ever!!!
Full Day Trip – Offshore on August 1, 20266 adults

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Captain Brian runs an outstanding offshore charter! From the moment we left the dock, it was obvious he was experienced, professional, and dedicated to making sure everyone had a great time. He put us on fish all day and worked hard to keep us in the action. On our full-day trip we caught mahi-mahi, Black Sea bass, grunt fish, and several other species. It was an incredible experience with nonstop opportunities to reel in fish. Captain Brian was patient, knowledgeable, and always willing to answer questions or help when needed. If you’re looking for a captain who knows where the fish are and runs a safe, well-organized, and enjoyable offshore charter, I can’t recommend Captain Brian enough. I’ll definitely be booking another trip with him!

More Than Just a Fishing Trip!
Half Day Trip – Offshore - 2:00 PM on July 2, 20265 adults

If you’re looking for an unforgettable day on the water, Captain Brian is the one to book! From the moment we stepped on the boat, he made us feel welcome and took the time to get to know our family. He shared so much knowledge about the area, the local waters, and the different types of fish we might catch, which made the trip even more enjoyable. Captain Brian was incredibly attentive to both our safety and making sure everyone had a great time. He was especially helpful with us ladies, patiently assisting us with baiting hooks, casting, and anything else we needed so the guys could focus on fishing (without us constantly asking for help!). That thoughtful attention made the experience fun for everyone. He worked hard all day, moving us to several productive fishing spots, and we had great success catching fish. You could tell he genuinely wanted us to have the best experience possible, not just catch fish, but make lasting memories. Professional, knowledgeable, personable, and hardworking—we couldn’t have asked for a better captain. We highly recommend Captain Brian and can’t wait to book another trip with him!

Top-Tier Coastal Fishing Experience with a Captain Who Truly Delivers
Half Day Trip – Offshore on April 7, 20263 adults

Brian absolutely exceeded every expectation for our fishing trip. As someone who grew up around the coast and loves being out on the ocean, I can confidently say this was one of the best experiences I’ve had. From the moment we stepped on the boat, it felt like we were out fishing with a longtime friend rather than just a captain. He was incredibly attentive—constantly making sure we had everything we needed and that we were comfortable at all times. He took the time to educate us on the fish, the environment, and the ocean itself, which made the experience even more meaningful. He also checked in with us throughout the trip without ever being overbearing—just the right balance of professionalism and personality. Brian clearly takes a lot of pride in what he does, and it shows in every detail. This is someone who truly cares about his clients having a great experience. We will absolutely be booking with him again—100% recommend.
