Book your next trip with Fishbone Charters and find out what keeps anglers coming back to New York City for more. Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Bill is prepared to put you on fish.
The fish in these waters include Striped Bass, Bluefish, Skipjack, Cobia, Flounder, Atlantic Mackerel, Scup (Porgy), Black Seabass, Shad, Thresher Shark, Tautog, Yellowfin Tuna, and more, depending on when you go.
On these trips, you can expect to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle. Capt. Bill also offers fly fishing, but you may need to bring your own fly gear. For the more adventurous among you, there's spearfishing.
Families making a day of it will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. Also remember to bring snacks to stay fueled throughout your trip!
Capt. Bill welcomes you aboard a 23' KenCraft center console with space for 4 passengers. It has all the essentials. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, as well as lures. Live bait is on offer, but you should ask the captain whether you'll be catching it yourself.
You will need to purchase a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.
You can't go wrong when you bring a hat, sunglasses, and sunblock (non-spray). Drinks are included, free of charge. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be some light snacks included on board.
Now, come aboard with Fishbone Charters and get hooked!

6 Hour Trip – Cobia/Shark/Pelagics
I was visiting NYC and as an avid fisherman I decided to book a charter with bill and what an amazing experience it was. Scenic views, banter and lots of fun! I would very highly recommend bill to any fishermen in NYC. Boat has plenty of room and the gear speaks for itself! Thank you Bill!
