These waters are known for Black Seabass, Flounder, Striped Bass, Bluefish, Bluefin Tuna, Weakfish, and more – with any luck, they'll make your reel scream. During the trip you might be spinning, popping, jigging, or maybe something more specialized in this area. Capt. Andrew also offers fly fishing, but you may need to bring your own fly gear.
Children are welcome, so get 'em offline and onto the water! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. Also remember to bring snacks!
You'll be dropping lines from a 23' Key West center console that holds up to 4 passengers. It comes with all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. Your captain will provide rods and reels, along with lures. Live bait is included, but you should ask the captain whether you'll be catching it yourself.
There will be a First Mate on board to help your trip run smoothly. Mates work hard to make your trip count, so a 10–20% tip is customary.
Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, just show up ready for some fishing! Some fish have special regulations, including when you can keep them. If you don't know what to expect, ask the captain.
It's always wise to bring sunblock (non-spray), and sunglasses. Drinks are included, free of charge. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be food and some light snacks included on board.
