Reel Distracted Fishing Charters welcomes you to the stunning waters of Ingleside, Aransas Pass, Rockport, Port Aransas,
We will be targeting Black Drum, Flounder, Redfish, Sheepshead, Speckled Trout, and more with any luck. On these trips, you can expect to troll/ drift using light tackle spinning rods. Wade fishing trips are offered as well, however you Must provide your own gear for wading.
Trips with Reel Distracted are open to the whole family, to include the lil ones! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. Don't forget to bring snacks to maintain your energy throughout the trip!
You'll be fishing from a 22' center console v-hull Majek Xtreme that can carry up to 4 passengers comfortably. It comes with all the essentials including rods, reels, tackle and bottled waters. Live bait and or lures will be provided as well.
Trips are run with the help of a 12 yr old deckhand over the summer. A 10–20% TIP is customary to show your appreciation for the hard work/effort put forth from both the Captain and Deckhand.
Before coming aboard, it is mandatory to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This is available online, or can be purchased at Walmart or academy. Some species may be off limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.
It's recommended to bring sunscreen (non-spray), a hat, snacks, and sunglasses. There will be bottled water provided. Beer/Alcohol is allowed in moderation. Hard liquor as well as glass bottles are prohibited! Please be advised that I am a full time Police Officer. Rules shall be followed to ensure a safe trip.

my son and i went to Port A to fish. he caught a good size red and we caught several other fish. Shavon was nice enough to pick us up at a marina much closer so we didn’t have to take the ferry across. it was a good day.

Had an awesome fishing trip! The captain knew all the best spots, the boat was clean and well stocked, and we caught plenty of fish. Super fun and easygoing experience — highly recommend!

To begin with, our Captain was outstanding, offering valuable insights about fishing spots and displaying a warm and welcoming attitude. We were successful in catching red fish, ranging from small to large. She demonstrated exceptional skill in cleaning and filleting them. I strongly recommend Shevon and am eager to book her services again soon. Also her nephew Wes worked as a crewman and assisted us the whole way! My son, a friend, and I had a wonderful time on the water, catching a large red fish. The experience was truly enjoyable. We have planned a cookout for the next day, and I am confident that the blackened red fish will be a culinary delight. The experience was excellent, enjoyable, and guided by an expert with extensive knowledge and experience. I am looking forward to another trip soon. It was undoubtedly the best experience, and I highly recommend it to anyone who loves the water and fishing.

Took my son and brother and we all had the best time! Shevon is a great captain, very knowledgeable and so fun to fish with! Although it was a bit cold and choppy, Shevon got us over the fish and we caught our limit on Sheepshead. Overall it was an awesome day and Captain Shevon is amazing!! I highly recommend! Looking forward to going again “REEL” soon! :)
