Your fishing adventure starts on a 22' Mosca boat that can safely take up to 4 anglers. This boat comes with a wireless trolling motor and 10' power pole.
All rods, reels and terminal tackle are included in the price so you can focus on what really matters, fishing. Please make sure to buy a valid fishing license ahead of time. The crew will clean and fillet your catch for you to take home at the end of the trip.

We had an awesome trip today on the water! We (My daughter & I) had the opportunity to fish with Brett for the afternoon! It was my Daughters first time on the water and she appreciated Brett’s guidance, patience and excitement when she caught her very first red fish! I myself caught the biggest trout I have ever seen. Brett had great hospitality and knowledge as well as enjoyable to be around. Looking forward to our next trip to the coast with the whole family! Thanks again Brett! -Jeremy

Booked a full-day trip w/Popper Down Charters for my son and me in early Jun '23. It was a fantastic experience from start to finish. Caught a lot of fish, but only had one keeper trout--that's how it goes sometimes. It was delicious, nonetheless. Capt Brett was exceptionally welcoming and knowledgeable...my son learned more about fishing and boating in 8 hours than what I taught him in all of his 14 years! I appreciate the Capt using his background in education to teach both of us far more about the area, fishing, and boating than what we showed up with. Saw a lot of dolphin and other sea critters up close, too...still wondering what that fish the size of a small submarine was! Great weather, not a lot of fishing pressure, and seeing my boy grow up a little that day was worth every penny. Would book this again in a second...Thanks, Capt Brett--we thoroughly enjoyed it!

My wife grew up in Aransas Pass and we have lived in the area for the last 25 years of our 43 years together. My father n law was an avid fisherman and friends referred to him as The Kingfish. I learned as much as I could, not enough for a nickname, but enough to enjoy sharing a fun day on the water with folks who appreciate a fun day on the water. We want to catch fish but don't take ourselves so serious that it takes the fun out of it.
